    Clause is a group of word that certain subject and verb. Devided into 2 types:
  • Independent clause: is the clause that can stand alone
  • Dependent clause: is the clause that can't stand alone
b. Word
    Word is the smallest unit of setences that has meaning and can stand alone.

c. Phrase
    Phrase is a group of word that has no subject and predicate. Several types of phrase:
  • Noun Phrase: Noun as the head in a sentence.
  • Adjective Phrase: Adjective as the head in a sentence.
  • Verb Phrase: Verb as the head in a sentence.
  • Adverb Phrase: Adverb as the head in a sentence.
  • Preposition Phrase: Preposition as the head in a sentence.
